@MasterLee Oh yeah......and so many more to add to that list. And it's shame that many of the band members of all these groups have passed away. It seems like every week I read about another band member that passed...... of course most are in their 70's now and led an unhealthy life

@Synyster Totally. What began in the 80’s for me culminated in the 90’s for me… was truly the golden age of Metal. I’ve not seen anything like what we were experiencing musically for metal, before or after. 80’s was an interesting time where there were a lot of solid Bands including RATT… that were very much starting to experimenting in new sounds and that was fulfilled in the 90’s and very very early 2000’s. What the 70’s was for rock, the 90’s was for all of the types of the metal genres imho.

That’s pretty accurate in my opinion.
80s was an era that will never be reproduced in this lifetime.

LA was the ground breaking place for so many hair metal bands. Places like Whisky a go go, Troubadour. The Roxy and Starwood
