You might wonder why I posted a song Which McVie( nee Pectfect DIDN'T write but aside from singing backup playing keyboard she helped with the arrangements,as she did again on Welch's subsequent solo album
She was the glue the helped keep the group on point amongst the Sturm und Drang.
She also did the art work for the album Kiln House
She was one of my all-time favorite musicians and the world is a little worse for her passing
@Grateful4you A lot of people were discussing her passing yesterday. While I also like Stevie, Christine’s songs were always my favorites. Just something about her voice always put me in a good mood. I’d been listening to them since high school.. 🥺
Love this one. It almost goes for a pure gospel sound but pulls back just a hair(though they do the rave up at the end). Great Hammond playing. Christine's voice just puts me in such a calm, magical place.
