SW- whom would you consider an "odd" figure in the recording industry? What song represents their best work?

By way of example: Buster Bloodvessel of Bad Manners.
By all accounts a lovely feller, if not an intimidating presence. Also, a large Anglo man fronting a Reggae pop band is quite the connundrum. The band had a string of hits to their name.

This should be easy, Phil Spector, and I'll put up a Cohen song produced by, [media=https://youtu.be/VHzVehsh9r0]

@RoaringLion well I was more offering up Phil Spector's work. This isn't quite Cohen's staple of melancholia other than the words.

I know that friend. If you read what I wrote, and you wrote you will see the synergy @SW-User.

My connection seems to be failing over here @SW-User. If this reply doubles up so be it 🤣 He makes Buster seem about as straight as Phil Collins.

Nice pick! I like her too @LaLumieri. This song captures well the neurosis I like in her songs. There's always an undercurrent of something bubbling just beneath the surface just daring the subject of the song to make it erupt.

@pianoplayingsteve that’s a hilarious parody. Idk how you sing it though it’s soooo difficult
