Probably more hated because of how negative it is.

Not that I believe she doesn't have a right to sing whatever she is feeling.

The subject matter, at least to me, is irrelevant. The style of music though I believe not very original. Hundreds if not thousands of songs use the exact same style.

Agalloch taught metal how to wander and to wonder. Lots of songs are catchy without bringing anything new to the table though.

@PDXNative1986 like, yet I see where some rebalancing needs to be done in the beginning. There's three parts in the beginning. The beet and background totally over powers the lead.

Yet that seems to be true in most newer heavy metal.

I find the last unfortunate. That's a preference though. Look at the difference in the old heavy metal like black Sabbath.
