Not to knock Swift, but I really think this article ought to talk more about Billboard and the industry

Streaming seems way different from selling singles and bringing Babs into the conversation seems weird, compared to say, the Beatles, who might have performed similar stuff in terms of hits off a single album.

@BackyardShaman It's a good point. When the landscape isn't as crowded due to lesser platforms it focuses attention for those who don't live and die music.
