Something you might find me listening to when I was a little younger. They were definitely pioneers of their time and referenced technology a lot. My friend, who was very analytically minded, but musicial, who studied music who loved Kraftwerk, had a graphical equalizer in his equipment and it fascinated him, Kraftwerk would program music that when viewed on an EQ actually had expressions.

Great pick, and narrative @SW-User, thank you! I saw somewhere a comment where some punter was at a live show and the band passed around a little box with keys that played a pre-programmed melody for the audience to play. The band would then announce: "See anybody can make music". Always remembered that.
