What happened to the 'Album' culture?

Why don't Artists now-a-days release Albums like the way Artists then used to until mid 2000's⁉️
Why doesn't the music today has that vibe that lasts forever?
Why do most of us feel disconnected with the present music scene?
Why Artists work more on Singles than Albums?
Why most genres are diffused with Electronic music?
Why aren't lyrics today as impactful as they were then?
