I wasn't old enough to be clubbing when this was a hit first time round but I did go to the Wag Club in Wardour Street in the mid 90s, on Fridays. They had 'Planet Earth' 80s club nights and it was like stepping back in time to what it must have been like at the Blitz club back in the day when new romantics were in their prime. We'd normally get out at 3am and stagger to Trafalgar Square for a dodgy hot dog and then the long night bus home.
Happy days but couldn't do it now...
