@PissFun Yes, starting with the piano (as a part of the rhythm section), followed by that unavoidable string arrangement. Really well done!
Music from the days when there were still professional pop music arrangers, a profession which is, sadly, almost extinct now in the field of pop music.

Fabulous piece. Not familiar with this one, but I have heard other compositions by Les Baxter. He did the scores for a lot of films back in the day.

Les Baxter did a bunch of movie scores, including "The Dunwich Horror" (1970) !
I'd never heard this before but once I started listening I couldn't stop. 😃
