From This, To That or....Oh, Those Gene Pools.

Dunno, should I refer to this as before and after or something?

She has always been, my secret crush. From the years when first established....to where she is now, this is what 75 years old looks like for someone who had claimed her passion at any early age.
You can read her bio for yourself, but her musical forays transported her thru so many portholes. Personally, I felt some of her best pieces were with Linda Ronstadt and Dolly Parton. Their vocals were stunning, and effective or their "Trio" albums.
A musical beat reporter referred to her as The Widow of Nashville. If you're interested in that, the link is here: https://www.southerncultures.org/article/you-sleep-with-none-and-you-wake-with-ghosts-emmylou-harris-as-the-widow-of-nashville/#:~:text=Emmylou%20Harris's%20solo%20musical%20career,room%20in%20Joshua%20Tree%2C%20California.
I only know she never got over him. Her longevity, her beauty at 75 years of age is to me, due to passion, and knowing when to fold 'em, and when to go for it.
Emmylou Harris is one of a kind.

I’m not a country fan, but I’ve sang Telling Me Lies a few times in different shows. It was the first time I’d heard of Emmylou Harris. She is a beautiful lady with a beautiful voice, and I love that she lived her passion. I hope I look that amazing at 75!

I assume that article is about Gram Parsons. She is at the top of my bucket list of artists to see.

@JohnnyNoir Correct. It was Gram Parsons.....and one of those sad, dare I say, almost necessary artistic noir's that released her to include and channel that loss in to who she would become.

@Freeranger I'm sure his ghost and influence have served to keep his legacy alive as well as propelling her career.

@JohnnyNoir I"m certain there are those very shades of that fact amigo.
