My mum reminds me of why people who can't sing end up on TV embarrassing themselves.

When I was a kid she'd make me sing the same two songs to my uncle and grandma over the phone and they'd all convince me I was really good. Had me feeling like I was performing for a talent scout. This was our big break. This was gonna be our way to the top. I was Beyonce.

Lmao you just somehow unlocked a memory of when in 2005 Greece won Eurovision and the grandmas of my village were making us kids perform it in front of them in the neighbourhood and they liked it so much they were saying "Do Paparizou, come on!". Just imagine some 6-7 year old kids trying to sing "you are my number one" in what we thought was flawless English in front of grandmas sitting around the street 😂 whyyy
@HannibalAteMeOut I just looked it up.
You guys had no business singing lyrics like "You're Delicious. So Capricious.
If I find out you don't want me I'll be vicious" at that age but it's a banger tbh.

@HijabaDabbaDoo if those grandmas knew what it meant they'd change their mind for sure 😂
