SW- a song that you remember from your childhood that perhaps even your mother or father used to play?

Do you have any feelings about the song?

I like a lot of songs my mum used to play when I was little. This is a particularly good one, and I heard it on the radio a couple of days ago.

@HairbrushDiva Nice one HairbrushDiva. From back when Madonna could still surprise you. I enjoyed the retro-ambience in this song and video too. With good taste your mum.

@RoaringLion Madonna is one of my favourite singers too. She appeals to various age groups.

I remember my mom having this song on a cassette tape.
It was the first time I had heard it, and I still love it.

It is a great song to share a memory of warm and comfortable times @chrisCA. Thank you.

@ChipmunkErnie Nice one Ernie. Is that a glockenspiel in there? Very effective with the wee-oo-wee part especially at the start.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
@RoaringLion Probably a vibraphone, like Lionel Hampton played...[media=https://youtu.be/R_rTICMVXQQ]

@ChipmunkErnie Oh, nice one thanks for the knowledge (and link) Ernie. If I may just say I love to see people smile when they perform. I do';t think one can do that without complete mastery of what they are doing. Cheers.
My mother loved Gene Pitney back in the day. Pop, not so much. Mom would put a record on and Pop would find an excuse to go out and work in his garden. 😅

@bijouxbroussard Don't actually remember this song, but loved his version of "Town Without Pity".
@ChipmunkErnie She liked that, too.

@bijouxbroussard Ha! Well told. A very smart man indeed Bijoux!
