Its basically about her wanting to make a deal with God to trade places with her man so that they could experience the problems from each others point of view and then swap back so that they would understand each other better. Its kinda like a love song, like a plea for help in a way. Because men and women view problems from their perspective and trading places would help them understand each other better.
