On silent wings
the emptiness moves through my land
through dreams of longing
which I never found
dreams of a person
whom I once knew
It was somebody
who was called by my name
You killed it
choked it with your deeds
offended it
took advantage and betrayed its feelings
But it loved you as much
as only a person can
For 5 years I loved you
For 5 years, despite everything that happened
For 5 years, deferential to my love
For 5 years going to hell
A curse that has no name
now weighs down on it
On its broken heart
that seemed oh so sure
A curse that quietly grew
in its breast for years
Firmly embedded
on the very last page of this book
The name by which the deceased is known
is the same as my name
The soul here in its breast,
it knows no pity
I now look down on it
and see it resembles me
Through its death I will live
I but no longer us
