Music: What note is a whole step higher than a B-Sharp note?

I’m so confused. What do you mean there is no b-sharp? How can it just not be there?

Why does it just go right to C? Why does the note note exist?

@XenonRush I don't remember what the full history of it is, but that's how it works in the traditional western 12 scale
