@Punches When I was dating my now ex (yep, another red flag), we had a fight and he took off and drove the 30 miles to his place.

I wasn't done fighting and tried several times to call him. He didn't answer. Finally, exasperated, I got in my car and drove the 30 miles myself. When he answered the door, I brushed past him and went to the wall phone. (This was obviously in the 1800s.)

I shook the receiver at him and said, "This is a phone. When it rings, you answer it. If you don't answer, I won't call again and don't you dare call me."

Then I left and drove 30 miles home.
