Busy day at work...and it was quite warm too....Friday's are always tough, especially if the week has been a hard one...
But, what helped me though it was downloading the new Carrie Underwood album - eagerly awaited by moi here and out today - onto my device and listening to it on repeat throughout.
It's called 'Denim & Rhinestones' and, I'd humbly say, amongst her very best. Short album but, as they say, 'All Killer, No Filler'.
I don't know how most modern people take music these days. i get called quite old fashioned in that I love listening to complete albums - that's like a holistic overview of what the artist has created - rather than singles...
...and Carrie's my gal....
Strong songs. Strong melodies. Great production...and some very thoughtful - and fun - lyrics.
