Queen Elizabeth II has reigned since February, 1952, when she was 25 years old. She's now 96. Because no-one in their right mind would stage an outdoor celebration in England in February, the party took place last night. The coronation didn't take place until 1953, but anyone waiting for the seventieth anniversary of that would have missed the party.
