Sam Cooke, "A Change Is Gonna Come" (1963)

This song makes me "teary" for so many reasons…
the fact of what it represented during the civil rights struggle
Cooke’s untimely death, and that he didn’t live to see things improve
that today many of the same people who don’t want to even acknowledge the ugliness of the past
are trying to gradually return us to those days

i stand corrected, i was only talking about the song it was a troubled time if you lived in the states, lets face it nothing has changed.🤔

@sasanack Some things have definitely changed since back then. Even I have to admit that. But it seems like some people who weren’t around are trying to turn the clock back.
