They all are amazing, such beautiful voices. I heard Citizen Queens version for the first time today...WOW!
But I must say my favorite version is from Roberta Flack 馃グ

Roberta Flack's version is haunting and memorable. The other 2 versions are showy and overly dramatic.

Stick with the original and her longing and poignancy.

This song is strikingly similar to "Superstar" by the Carpenters...

@SumKindaMunster I agree about Roberta Flacks version however I do like the other two for different reasons as well. I just love the song.

Fugees version was played so much when it was released, I grew quite tired of it.
Roberta is my favorite. 鈾ワ笍

@ChipmunkErnie I admit that I didn't think of this version when I posted. I was so impressed with Citizen Queens version that that led me to ask the question.

@ClassicRocker Haven't heard that one, but I don't remember the Fugees version, either. Frankly, I don;t remember anything about the Fugees except the name. ;)
@ChipmunkErnie This is beautiful, and the first version I鈥檝e enjoyed as much as Roberta鈥檚.

Is there any point in listening to the other two versions? Roberta Flack nailed this song nearly 50 years ago.

@graphite I like the other two but agree about Robertas.

Roberta Flack just owns this song. It has that little bit of spookiness to it.

@uncalled4 Absolutely!
