Is there a musical artist who had an untimely death, that whenever you hear their work, saddens you?

@Pretzel Yeesh. In this day and age one wonders why he threatened his dad. Not to be an old wife about it but one wonders.

@SW-User Apparently, Marvin had some paranoia issues and started giving out guns to people. And of course one of the guns ended up being used on him.

@SW-User Marvin Gaye’s father was a real weirdo. He was a minister who beat his wife. Marvin was defending his mother again when his father killed him.

@bijouxbroussard Aw fuck...didn't want to assume that it was a case of a terrible parent. I knew so little about this having seen it on a documentary when I was far too young to really understand much less remember much of it.


That is just beyond sad.
