What lyrics have you misheard and sung wrong for a long time?

@stratosranger good! 😅 i was fully grown when i finally heard it correctly, and then suddenly it was proper poetry.

i just accepted that it was plausible, being there was a lake and all, and mollusks don't move around much.

@stratosranger i was just a kiddo at the time, and the song had been out for awhile. i was trying to learn to play the intro on my guitar.

my first psychedelic experience was with mescaline at Disney World while in college in the early 90's. i heard about how pure the LSD was back in the 60's and 70's, though! 😊

Wow! Never tried mescaline. Mushrooms yes. At Disney? 😆 That’s brave. I do recall suggesting we go see Who Framed Roger Rabbit while on the shrooms and was voted down. Which was fine. Seeing people become walking/talking vegetables was even better. 😆@SW-User

@stratosranger mescaline's so gentle and lovely, nice smoooooth come down, no resultant temporary depression. just sublime. btw, that was my only trip to Disney, so i may have a seriously skewed view of how magical that kingdom is, really. ;) almost tried shrooms once, but i was already slap-sprung-to-the-curb on cherry vodka, so i passed on the opportunity.
