What lyrics have you misheard and sung wrong for a long time?

As a child, I heard the Carmen Miranda song Mama Yo Quero in an episode of Tom & Jerry, and I misheard the lyrics as "Mama yo quero, mama yo quero mama, and Dr. Pepper, Dr. Pepper is the American way."

Not trolling, as a child I heard on jingle bells, "Dashing through the snow on a one whore soap and sleigh, all the hills we go laughing all the way" I hate the taste of soap, especially around Christmas time. ☹

@Bang5luts If you read my answer, you'll see that although I came up with a slightly different interpretation of that lyric, you and I did both hear "soap"!

@StrawberryMilkshake 🤣I did also. Not even joking. I'm wondering 🤔 was this a conspiracy to get kids in trouble? Lol. Because I fell for each one of them lol. I ate more soap as a kid than most kids ate candy. Lol
