What on your thoughts on Stevie Ray Vaughan?

I consider him Jimi without the distortion, the only guy who can hold a candle to Jimi. He's one of the greatest blues players to ever live. But he wasn't very versatile. And not much of a lyric writer. I think if he had found a good singer and just played incredible guitar solos and rhythm like Santana he'd be perfect.

What are your thoughts of the likes of Tracie Chapmen, Robin Trower, and Kenny Wayne Sheppard?

I am only familiar with Kenny. I saw him live. Blew me away. One of the best modern blues guitarists I've ever heard. At his show he did a rendition of Voodoo Child as the closer. It set the room on fire.

@Dichotomy: Gonna be a you tube night huh?
Be for warned, Robin Trower is really versatile, been making hits since the 60's.
