@Pinkstarburst How does one hunt a turkey? Please indulge this vegetarian non hunter. 😂

@SW-User Well, from what I’ve gathered, you go out into the woods before the butt crack of dawn dressed in $300 camouflage. Then, you sit on the ground and use these little $50 scratcher/caller thingies to entice horny boy turkeys to come close so you can shoot them. This is done until you kill a turkey or get pissed because some is in your space or you don’t hear any call back. And this is done every day for a week.

@SW-User To rest you’re thoughts...it is actually more humane than a processing plant. They are wild, therefore not in stacked thousands to a room. Also, there is a one kill per person limit so as not to over hunt. The meat is eaten, not wasted and, because it isn’t pumped full of chemicals, is quite healthy. Proper hunting is actually less cruel to animals as one-shot kills are safer and yields better meat.

I know that is sickening to you and I respect that.

@Pinkstarburst Oh, I am not sickened by the process of hunting. My thought was more along the lines of 'it sounds boring'. 😅 Sorry!
