I was standing in a queue a few months ago at a coffee van in town, and i noticed the guy in front was Daryl Braithwaite. I really wanted to start singing Summer Love but he probably gets that all the time 🤣
@SW-User I didn’t know he had another song 🤔
SW-User
@Notladylike He has heaps of songs, before his solo career he was lead singer of the 70's pop band Sherbert

@SW-User I thought he was a one hit wonder. Haha there you go

@Notladylike I thought his best band was 90's band Company Of Strangers. Had James Reyne in it too.... love this song...

@SW-User So wait. Y'all say sherbert down there as well?
SW-User
@MethDozer Yeah... it's a white powdery substance as well as a famous pop band 😃

@SW-User Oh cool. However it means sherbet ( the fruity ice cream like stuff) here. That's why I was kinda surprised because I thought we were the only ones saying it wrong. Which I guess I was right about considering the difference in usage.
SW-User
@MethDozer Ah ok, or we could be saying it wrong too 😂

@SW-User No idea. I didn't even realize it was spelled sherbet on containers until my mid twenties. Mind was blown.
