What is American pop music called in other countries?

We Americans call Korean pop K-pop and British pop Brit-pop. But in those countries it’s just called pop. So when other countries listen to pop from the USA, what do they call it? Ameripop? A-pop?

I have no idea what Britpop is. As long as it's in English it's pop. K-pop is just American pop in Korean. Not that I knew much K-pop but from the little I heard it looks like they ripped off everything they could.
