In the famous holiday song "Let it Snow," have you noticed the conflicting lyrics? ~

I have wondered about this for years. First, there's "Since we've no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow." But later, "When we finally kiss good night, how I'll hate going out in the storm." What's up with that?

I would assume that the singer wanted to stay the night instead of going to his own home in the snow? 😉
