@DragonFruit I wonder if he was alive today, would he still think to himself "What a wonderful world"?

@HairbrushDiva I’d like to think that he was enough of an optimist that he would see the beauty in the world at any time. When the song came out, there was a lot of unrest in the country. There were protests over the Vietnam War and civil right marches, the Civil Rights Act had only recently come to be....so it was a time of some turmoil as well.

@DragonFruit I don't know, my mum was a baby when it came out. Lol :)
