@SW-User That one was on the radio a couple of weeks ago, and today "Always On My Mind" was on.

@HairbrushDiva I was surprised when they did a cover of Always On My Mind.

@SW-User They also did two covers blended together. It was clever the way they segued these two songs.

@HairbrushDiva Thank you for introducing me to this! It's amazing, and I love the video too.

@SW-User Haven't you heard that before? I heard it on the radio a few weeks ago. It's not new, it came out in the 90s.
SW-User
@HairbrushDiva I hadn't heard it, no. I don't know how I missed it in the 90's, but I don't listen to the radio anymore now. I just listen to my own library of thousands of songs, and sometimes I look up new stuff from old bands I love on youtube. I find new stuff through members here, too.

@SW-User According to Wikipedia it got to number 4 in the UK charts in 1991. I was only a toddler then but I do remember hearing it on the radio when I was little.

@HairbrushDiva I was 20 in 1991, and pregnant with my first child. I'm in the U.S., though, and I don't know if that might make a difference on which songs play. West End Girls was played a whole lot, I remember. And, somehow, I missed out on Stone Roses, too. I only found them a few years ago, and I love them to bits.

@SW-User I was 2 in October that year. I've just looked further at the Wiki page for the PSB and "West End Girls" got to number one in the US as well as the UK so that was bound to be played a lot. Their version of "Where The Streets Have No Name"/"Can't Take My Eyes Off You" was not so big over there.
SW-User
@HairbrushDiva Well, that explains it. I do like it a lot, though.
