@walabby We've had a Beatles song on the radio today as well, one of John Lennon's songs.

@HairbrushDiva Radio where I live has a sprinkling of Beatles songs in it's playlist. McCartney and Lennon songs too. Probably more Lennon songs than any other... He was doing well until someone shot him.. :(

@walabby They play a few Beatles songs on the station I listen to. Most of them are sung by John or Paul, although I believe "Something" was George Harrison. They play that one quite a lot.

@walabby Yes, it was on recently and the DJ said it was the Beatles. He also said it was George singing it.

I'm not really a Beatles historian. I just like to listen to their music occasionally. I have friends that can quote Beatles history chapter and verse! XD

@walabby I'm not old enough to be a Beatles historian but I know a few people who could be. The manager of our local Internet cafe is one. He's about 65 and he's liked the Beatles since they were chart regulars. He knows just about everything about them.

@HairbrushDiva Yeah, people went nuts over them at the time. Elvis too. Before him Cranky Frank Sinatra. I'm too cynical to be a personality cultist but I do like some of their music...

@walabby I enjoy flooding the homepage with all these music posts to hopefully divert people's attention from politics. Also, I like to share with others what I've heard on the radio during the day, and this is a good place to do that.
