A Perhaps controversial statement made for perhaps it's own sake

Instead of just blurting out the statement I might as well tell the story that motivated me to make the statement. A few days ago, while working, the boss played music on his phone so we wouldn't be bored silly while doing the work. One of the songs was "Sympathy for the Devil" by The Rolling Stones. I can not recite the lyrics verbatim from the top of my head, but there is a line saying something like, "I was there when Jesus Christ had His moments of doubt and pain" and the next line says something about "Pilate washed his hands, sealed His fate."

To my knowledge, no past or current member of The Rolling Stones ever claimed to be any kind of Christian. But that's not my main point nor the perhaps controversial statement.

Here is the perhaps controversial statement: You KNOW "Christian/ Worship" music is going in the wrong direction when "Sympathy for the Devil" has a less vague and more specific Bible reference than 90% of music that is played during church services now a days.
