When you tap your foot to the music, are you a little offbeat?

Silverfox420 · 36-40, F
I play the drums, I'm tapping my foot and slapping my legs to the best. I'm feeling it.

Lucky you. That has always seemed like it would be fun to me

That's a really good question.
Buddies of mine have terrible rhythm and can't change it.
I have excellent rhythm but had nothing to do with it.
I've never really looked in to this but I have to guess we're hardwired to have good rhythm or not. It's a "feel" thing. That's usually driven by something deep.

Hmmm, I never tap my foot much, I use my arms a lot if I'm just sitting.

@sweetpea: I'm with you there. A car dancer just bouncin around :)

@tnjazz: Lifts my spirits. 🤗

@sweetpea: They say if you never slow down , you never get old
Mguinm · 51-55, F
Never. I have rhythm in my blood.
Mguinm · 51-55, F
@tnjazz: nope, just saying it's in my blood. My father was a musician for 50 years of his life and was with the Bill Black Combo and The Letterman and many other bands. I have rhythm and always will. Not everybody has the same talents, though.
tnjazz · 70-79, M
If he played with Bill Black he musta been around here at some time
Mguinm · 51-55, F
@tnjazz: He died of alcoholism sadly. He was 60 years old.
Only when I open my mouth to sing along. Lol
tnjazz · 70-79, M
Let me know if you want my bucket to help carry the tune
@tnjazz: lol. Ok.
Adogslife · 61-69, M
There's a beat?
tnjazz · 70-79, M
It's okay to travel to the beat of a different drum

No. I actually have a pretty decent sense of rhythm. Yet it somehow does not translate into being a good dancer.
tnjazz · 70-79, M
My big feet can keep up with the beat but they play hell with my dance steps
