At the Omni during college, all the [b]greats[/b] of the day: Earth, Wind and Fire, Brick, LTD, and the Brothers Johnson. It was [b]epic[/b].

@bijouxbroussard The horns just KICK IT on that song.

I know someone who worked with James's horn section, Maceo and all those cats. He said that once they got warmed up and going, they functioned as a unit, tight AF. They were even improvising tight horn stabs. It's that completely non-verbal communication that only musicians understand. I've only experienced it a handful of times and it is both transcendent and powerful.
