I have only been able to enjoy a select few rap artists. Compared to the amount of musicians I study from other genres, the number is much smaller. I could explain my reasons but I don't want to start a political battle. For example Criolo Doido, a Brazilian rap artist, he's really good. I like several of his albums. I also like quite a few hip hop and R&B artists, and mixed genres. But I most favor other sounds, for some reason.

Some of the early stuff is kinda catchy looking back, but otherwise, I'm not a fan.

Never been a fan. I'm more of a classic rock kind of guy.
Great for cardio sessions.

Old school rap is deep and I’d consider it a form of poetry.
The new age stuff is pretty distasteful. Good beats, but the lyrics are trash.
