@Bootsiebaby Lots of people...rock singers...Jim Morrison, Robert Plant. Midge Ure, Jack Bruce, Janis Joplin, Grace Slick, to name just a few...I don't do pop, lol.

@Bootsiebaby I think Ure was the best singer to come out of that era. I have kept up with his solo career as well. Hippies? None of them were hippies (with the possible exception of Joplin). They really didn't care for the hippies. They were musicians with long hair.
