@Bootsiebaby Difficult to answer. I'm a bit all over the place. I do find that a fair lot of what I like has elements of dark cabaret.

That, or unusual combinations of genres and instruments. The "this isn't supposed to work at all... but it does" stuff. Experimental rock/metal band with an accordion? Aye. Actual Slayer songs on banjo and cello? Check. Speaking of Slayer, that mashup of Marvin Gaye and Slayer? Yes, please. Hip-hop and klezmer mashup? Dig it.
