What was your first musical instrument?

Is it the same one you still play?

Mine was the harmonica and drum sticks my dad gave me when I was a kid. I had no 'drums,' just the sticks he gave me from when he played drums for a short while. I didn't really have an interest in the harmonica.

Later on, I had an interest in guitar, and bass guitar.

Piano. Yes I still play. It's a family thing. When I was a teen it was a way to Make quick cash. I would ask hotels to play at the lobby and get small cash for myself and my friends. I cant sing to save my life but I can play piano for a quick buck lol....Love it too as well :)

@Awfullybrave OMG! That is so awesome!
I wish I knew how to play guitar well enough to make money on the street corners. That would have been amazing!
@Phire1 Yeah for sure :)

@Awfullybrave I've been homeless twice. I wish I knew how to play guitar well enough to make some change
@Phire1 🤗, you can learn more perhaps? Do you have passion for it ?

@Awfullybrave Too many things in life happen.
I still have passion for it, but I have put my passions towards other things.
I wish I knew how to play well enough to be able to apply it to the field I am in now.

I have passion for it, perhaps not the patience anymore...
@Phire1 I want to encourage you. Please make time for it ..you won't regret it. Remember when you have no other way, you can always make a quick buck ☺️

@Awfullybrave For the last 5 yrs, I've put most of my time into getting a degree in a certain field. If I spent the same amount of time learning the guitar, I would possibly be an expert at it by now
