Is it lame that I'm 17 and I love listening to the Beatles?

I never really cared about their music when I was younger but I started getting into them when I was about 12-13. Their music isn't bad. Some of my peers think it's lame that I'm listening to them and I should be listening to Rick Ross, Cardi B, and today's junk. Well I like some of today's music but music from pre 2010 sounds better to me. My parents grew up listening to the Beatles and my grandma especially is a HUGE family of them and she went to a few of their concerts when she was a teenager. Lucky! I just love their music.
