Who is the greatest guitar player of all time

Eddie van Halen gets my vote but there are a lot of great ones

There is so many on so many levels in different types of genres one who I feel was great and often overlooked was Allen Collins of Lynyrd Skynyrd

Leo Kottke, Mark Knopfler, Eric Clapton, Van Helen. Too many great guitar players.

There are too many to choose from, but I'm going to say Jimi Hendrix, because he took the electric guitar to places it had never been before.

There's probably a lot but right now I like Earl Klugh :)
