Metallica:

Ok, so why I've been pondering this for a long time now, i don't know; For me, I don't think Load and ReLoad are great albums, but I like them far more than ANY of the material since; i just can't get my head around St Anger,[no one else can either, thankfully] DM, or Hardwired. Obviously the first 3 are the masterworks, Justice For All was great, the Black Album is just, gosh, what it is-- amongst the biggest records of all time; Load and Re just seemed the Next Step, not classics but good just the same; any thoughts appreciated, agree or disagree, i'm basically just comparing the last 3 to Load and Re is my focus here, thank yous to All!!

I have only just started listening to them, and bought Master of Puppets first, which grew on me the more I played it.Then I bought Ride the Lightning, which I also like, but not as much as MoP.This afternoon I have just tracked down and ordered Kill em All,used but VGC.

@pedrohedgerow excellent! Ride is still hands down, my favorite, AND its tied for my favorite record of all; Kill Em All is just raw and total ass kicker, you won't be disappointed!

Try to get the single for One and skip “and justice for all” album if you’re trying to load up on their good stuff from the 80s. @pedrohedgerow
