I'm listening to Emerson Lake & Palmer - Works Vol 1 (record 2-side-1)
I recently got into records and I had heard a couple things of Emerson Lake & Palmer in the past, but for some reason, sitting down and listening to an entire album, I really feel like it reached out to me, I find I'm connecting more with music that I place on my turntable. I'm not into this hobby for the collectibles side of things, I truly enjoy music as a musician, and like discovering things I've never heard before. What a magical experience it is to hear the amazing albums from Emerson Lake & Palmer - especially Trilogy & Tarkus come to mind for me. I am very deeply sad that I learned a week later after I got into this band, that 2 of the 3 members have passed on. Especially sad at Keith Emerson's death, maybe since I already lost a good friend years ago to suicide. Anyway, I'm rambling. Good morning to all! (hugs)
