Was this the best Eurovision song contest winner ever?

@PrivatePeeks it's a crap song but great comedy. If you imagine that Eurovision is a stupid song contest that takes itself too seriously then it makes sense.

@Burnley123 I think what was in the minds of its founders was to showcase the best of European songwriting and performing talent and that, to an extent, is what it did in its early days. The bubblegum and the novelties were there pretty much from the outset, though. One fact about Eurovision sticks in my mind is that Domenico Modugno's 'Nel blu dipinto di blu', better known as 'Volare', didn't win. It went round the world, was covered by people like Dean Martin and many others, while Modugno himself appeared on US TV singing it, but win Eurovision? No...🤔
