@Bootsiebaby I don't doubt it. The song was a huge hit after it was released in 1969.

@Bootsiebaby Yes, I still hear his '80s hits on the radio too. For the older stuff, I head over to YouTube as it doesn't get much airplay now.

@Bootsiebaby They were still playing his '60s and '70s hits on the radio here until about 2000 or so. Now it's rare to hear anything released before 1980 on our "oldies" stations.

@Bootsiebaby I'd love to have a station like that in my area. It would be one I'd listen to all the time.
