Hard to say really.
I remember listening to Aretha Franklin's 'Yeah' (1965) and being totally blown away by the range she had in her voice. It's also more of a jazz album than much of the rest of her blues/soul work
Santana's 'Santana' (1969) I remember my dad sat with his mate listening to this 'wild album, man' (his friends words) And so it is ! Great stuff ! Lots of raw energy and a distinctly 'Latin' feel to a rock album i think.
