I finally saw Love & Mercy

My heart aches for Brian Wilson for everything he endured. I wonder how accurate the portrayals were. It was very intense. What a beautiful soul.

We’re black sheep, him and I. Misfits. We view the world so differently than others, they begin to look at us as though we’re aliens. We’re wired a bit differently and too sensitive for this cruel world. Sensitivity can be a beautiful thing but unfortunately when you’re that soft, it becomes easier to be manipulated, abused and taken advantage of.

It genuinely angers and saddens me to see him in the state that he was in during interviews etc. He was so mistreated at that point, physically, mentally, emotionally. I couldn’t bear to watch another one but I have to keep in mind that this was the past.

Call me silly for being so worked up about this but Brian’s story touched me, I can relate to an extent...also being a sensitive person myself (among other things) i feel for and empathize heavily with him.

My battle with mental health wasn’t and isn’t nearly as intense as Brian’s seemed (seems) to be but I hope he is overall happy and well with where he is at now. He deserves the best. A Musical legend, an inspiration and my hero.

Ps- I think SMiLE is a genius record. Whatever the exact reason for not putting it out was, whether it was doubtful bandmates, insecurities, or all of the above and more, I wish they took a chance with it at that time. But I’m glad it surfaced to us eventually. I’m currently working on a project to create some visuals for the album... just for fun and appreciation :)

~gotta keep those lovin’ good vibrations happenin’😎✌🏽🔅~
