That Stairway to Heaven sums up the sadness of high school dances.
Pour Some Sugar On It reminds me of my teenage years. The way it felt to be full of hormones and feeling sexy and quiet and wanting intimacy and sex with those hot teenage boys. And how I felt around guys older than those teens too.
That Wham "Wake Me Up before You Go, Go" catches the exuberance of being young and relatively care-free.
There is a song called Oh Sherry that I love so much. Reminds me of being 16 and alone and all the feelings associated with it. Steve Perry sang it.
The Night Chicago Died takes me back to being fourteen. I remember that was when that song came out.
I have so many memories associated with songs. Songs are an enormous part of my life.
