I have five CD's that I call my testimony sung by like minded musicians....It's the story of my life living with schizoaffective disorder.

Of course. I have a whole folder of songs which are the first song I heard after hearing of a loved one's death.
SW-User

@SW-User me too! There's a song that was playing when I found out my father had died and I can't listen to it to this day

Sorry to hear that :( I have a song that reminds me of a friend that passed and it does make me cry when it's on.

@SW-User To me, different songs can remind me of being in a particular place at a particular time. I like to make my own compilations of those and listen to them all together so that the entire compilation reminds me of being in a specific place at a specific time.

I don’t know if equate is the word I would use. Reference might be a better word, as I reference songs to a certain stage in my life
SW-User
I have ones that I think of as songs that fit my life in general.
LyricalOne · F

NankerPhelge · 61-69, M
