West End Girls. Is that a depressing song?

I hear it now, and right away I get glum, pist off, even some sort of distorted anger. Maybe from the opening line "There's a gun in your hand. It's pointing at your head." Well in no time I feel like shit. I never understood how that was even a good song.

Hmmm never even thought about that line. Love the song, reminds me of youth and high school.

@chrisCA I liked it too. A lot of the 80’s song just had good music or beats and the lyrics were just fun to sing along to.

@chrisCA I couldn’t get into the clubs quite yet but I certainly loved the style and doing my hair. Even going to high school was a big event, everybody was dressed up!

@Keepitsimple Yes. No pants hanging off your ass, and ratty sneakers.
For me it was black, pointy shoes, dark linen pants, a dress shirt, and a skinny silk tie. Lol
