I'll say Chicago, I like a lot of their stuff, where I only like one or two songs from each of the others.

@gemstone Answer is the same for bands. Except 70s Chicago. Not the 80s Peter Cetera dreck.

I get the Boston Chicago, Nazareth are a apples to oranges choice. Nazareth most definitely.
@Ambroseguy80 Thanks. They are only ones that had any staying power. Their original guitarist, Terry Kath, who died at 31, in 1978 was the best. Many see it as the end of a sound for Chicago--Kath was admired by Hendrix--quite a feat!

@Elandra77 I’m well aware of the Terry Kath tragedy. And yes - Hendrix did admire him
@Ambroseguy80 I believe it was a gunshot incident. When I started to learn guitar, in 1971, I wanted to be like Kath or Hendrix. Not Richards, Townsend, Clapton, or Alvin Lee. But Kath and Hendrix.

They were compared for a number of year to Three Dog Night--who was also orchestrational and had 7 members. (Chicago had more) And they as well had a Jazz/funk/rock beat--as Chicago could have. I never got the Blood , Sweat and tears comparison- maybe for an LP or two but that was it.
